About Christina:
Christina’s acrylic paintings, which primarily focus on landscapes and produce from local farms, are featured in both private and corporate collections. Her work has been described as "enthusiastically vibrant and rich."
She received her bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York in 1996. Her concentration was in painting, graphic design with a focus in psychology. During a semester abroad, Christina studied graphic design at the Glasgow School of Art in Glasgow, Scotland. In 2000, she received her master’s degree in Art Therapy from MCP Hahnemann University. She has experience working as a graphic designer in the healthcare advertising field and as an art therapist in the long term care setting.
Her work has been shown at Borders Bookstores, in Bryn Mawr and Philadelphia, PA. In 2004 and 2005, Christina successfully participated in the Philadelphia Open Studios Tour (POST) annual event which showcases local artists from Philadelphia. In 2006, she moved to Lawrenceville New Jersey with her husband and two young children, where she participated in many local art shows and fundraisers. In 2009, Christina acted as one of the key players in forming a local artists cooperative called the Lawrenceville Main Street Artists Network, located in the heart of the village on Main Street. The LMSAN Gallery is also the home of her studio which she considers her own personal sanctuary.
